Q1. I have 2 dogs, 4 cats and 3 birds. How am I charged for a day visit? A day visit charge is $17 per visit. You are only charged the dog fee for all your animal companions. Q2. I have 4 dogs. What is the charge for a day visit? The day visit charge for 4 dogs is $17. The number of dogs does not change the visit cost.
Q3. How do I pay for pet sitting services? Cash and check are accepted. Payments for vacation visits must be provided at the first visit.
Q4. How do I know you took care of my animals? Tails to Tell provides a communication book. Our walkers are required to write a note per visit to your home. If you have specific instructions or concerns for the walker, please give them the instructions in the communication book.

Q5. What areas do you serve? Currently, we serve Royersford, Limerick, Spring City, Trappe, and Collegeville.
Q6. Will you train my dog? We are not a training service but Amber, the business's founder, has a background in behavioral science. She can advise you if you have questions about your dog's behavior and train basic cues through no-force training practices (please see our page about the PPG to learn about this). The walk and play time part of a visit can include brief training sessions on these basic cues.
Q7. My dogs are pullers, are hard to walk, are unruly, or not that great with people . Will you provide my pet your services? Yes, provided that we see what behaviors you mean during the introduction. We may have to increase our rate depending on difficulty.
Q8. I am a new client. What is the process to set up pet sitting services? New clients will complete a form describing their needs and their pets. Amber will schedule an introduction meeting to meet you and your animal companions.This process usually is completed within 7-10 days after inquiry.

Q10. Do you service towns outside of the range provided in question 5? Yes, provided that our sitters can make a longer trip in their schedules. Availability is not always guaranteed, especially around holidays, but our clients' needs vary from season to season. Ask us if we are able to provide our service in your area.
